About Us: Wide Open Off-Road

Wide Open Off-Road was established by a group of friends who, obviously, love riding off-road. Wide Open Off-Road is a non-profit 4x4 club based in the Tuscaloosa, AL area. As members of the club, we take pride in promoting the sport in a positive way. We go to several events across the state each year, often camping for the weekend. We can often be found helping each other out on their rig, or getting ready for the next big ride. Our club is geared mostly toward rock crawling, but we enjoy other aspects of off-roading as well. We are open to any type of 4x4 rig. Our current members have everything from Jeeps, to rock buggies, to full-size cab trucks. And like our name implies, we understand the need from time to time, to hit a trail or an obstacle 'Wide Open'!
